AUGP Program Description

Combines 20 hours of intensive career-focused English instruction per week with local business visits, volunteer opportunities, local and regional cultural excursions.

Program Time & Duration:

August each year. Four weeks.

  • Room
  • Visit to regular WWU classes
  • All classes
  • All classroom materials
  • Local Business visits
  • Local bus pass
  • WWU ID card
  • WWU Library access
  • Recreation Center access
  • Picnic
  • Certificate of Attendance
  • WWU email address
  • Welcome reception
  • Farewell reception
  • Cultural Ambassadors (assistants who live in or near the dormitories with AUGP students)
  • Airport pick up and return at Seattle Tacoma International Airport
  • Technology access on campus (computers and internet)
  • Community Engagement options (volunteering)
