Metro Art Access: New York City
ART 437 – 6 credits
Join us for an incredible opportunity to dive into the heart of the art world with two practicing artists as your guides! This immersive program offers insider access to the vibrant NYC art scene, from tours of world-class museums like MoMA and the Met to intimate gallery visits and artist studios.
You’ll hone your photography and writing skills by contributing to the class blog, explore iconic neighborhoods, engage with contemporary art trends, and present compelling pieces to your peers. It’s an unmissable experience of learning-by-doing, where you’ll make connections and memories that will inspire your creative journey for years to come.
The course is open to all majors with sophomore standing or higher. No pre-requisites or art background required. Also open to community members with instructor permission. See photos and read about previous students' experiences on the course blog.
