Lessons & Exams

Studies have shown that students who begin turning in their first lessons within two weeks of registration are more likely to complete the course than those who wait longer. It is suggested that students set up their schedule for submitting work early.

Lessons

Students may submit lessons by mail, fax, in-person, or for some classes by e-mail. Lessons should not be submitted directly to the instructor. The syllabus for the course contains complete information for submitting assignments. Please include a lesson cover sheet with each submission.

Examinations

Examinations for Self-Paced courses that require a proctored exam can be administered in the Western Testing Center at no cost to the student. If it is not practical for the student to come to Bellingham, he/she may make arrangements to have his/her examination proctored in a testing center at a regionally accredited public or private college or by an U.S. Armed Forces Education official. The syllabus for the course contains information regarding exam requirements. Exam Request Forms are available in the course syllabus.
