GEMS Fair Bellingham (Girls in Engineering, Math & Science)

Does your child want to fly to the moon? Dive to the depths of the Earth’s ocean? Design the coolest carbon-neutral car? Solve all the worlds’ science challenges? Not sure if engineering, math or science are right for them?

Come find out!

We need more GEMS (girls in engineering, math and science)! While women are nearly 50% of the general US workforce, women hold less than 25% of current STEM jobs.

Help us do our part to change this!

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon on Western’s Bellingham campus to explore careers in engineering, math and science.

GEMS Fair is a free event, inspiring girls of all ages and their families to explore STEM careers.

We are excited to host again this year, welcoming individuals and groups from across Western Washington University and local Bellingham communities engaged in STEM research and fields.
