How to Apply

You must be at least 17 years old at the time of enrollment, unless formally approved by IEP Admissions.

Step 1: Prepare Your Supporting Documents

  • A financial guarantee, quoted in U.S. dollars

    • An official bank statement or sponsor letter in English

    • You must verify that you have the total amount indicated for the program and number of quarters you want to attend.

  • A copy of a passport or government issued identification card

Step 2: Complete Your Free Application

Optional: You may apply for conditional undergraduate admission to Western.

It will take 2-3 days to process applications. If accepted to the program, your I-20 and acceptance packet will arrive in 2-3 weeks. Students who defer enrollment more than twice, or whose application is more than 6 months old, must submit a new application, fee, and supporting documents.

If you prefer to fill out a paper application, please contact IEP at iep@wwu.edu.

Step 3: Registration

After you are accepted to the program, you will need to pay a one-time registration fee of $75. This allows us to add you to our system, send your I-20 form and acceptance packet, and conduct remote English Placement Evaluations to determine your correct level.

*Special offer: applications for fall 2021 received before June 1 don't pay the registration fee!*

Congratulations!
